Winnakee Land Trust is a conservation organization in the Hudson Valley region dedicated to permanently protecting forests, farms, wetlands and watersheds through land acquisition and easements, as well as restoring ecosystems and engaging the public via trails and programs.
Ramapo for Children is a nonprofit that empowers children and young adults with social, emotional, and developmental challenges by providing inclusive programming, professional training, and opportunities for growth and success.
Northern Dutchess Hospital is an 84-bed nonprofit acute-care community hospital in Rhinebeck, NY, offering a broad range of medical, surgical, maternity, orthopedics, and diagnostic services with a focus on compassionate, local care as part of the Nuvance Health network.
Upstate Films is a nonprofit cinema organization in the Hudson Valley that screens a wide variety of films, hosts film series and outreach programs, and operates multiple theaters including the Starr, Orpheum, and Upstate Midtown.
Wilderstein is a nonprofit historic house museum in Rhinebeck, NY, once home to Margaret Suckley (a cousin and confidante of Franklin Roosevelt), showcasing Victorian architecture, mansion tours, walking trails, and year-round cultural events
Rhinebeck Science Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting hands-on STEM learning in the Rhinebeck community through programs, events, teacher resources, and partnerships.
The Rhinebeck Farmers Market is a weekly Sunday gathering from May through December where 30+ vendors offer fresh Hudson Valley produce, artisan foods, and more in Rhinebeck’s municipal lot.
Rhinebeck High School is a public secondary school serving grades 9-12, offering a full curriculum including AP courses, college guidance services, athletics and extracurricular clubs, with about 300-320 students and a student-teacher ratio around 10:1.
Cary Institute of Ecosystem Studies is a world leader in ecological research, dedicated to understanding how ecosystems function. Its scientists study freshwater, forests, disease, and cities—applying their findings to policies and management practices that protect the environment and enhance human well-being.
The Olana Partnership is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to inspiring the public through the preservation and interpretation of Frederic Church’s Olana, a New York State Historic Site and National Historic Landmark located within the Hudson River Valley National Heritage Area.
For 26 years, this community-powered festival has welcomed visitors from near and far. Thousands of children have experienced the magic of the event — from crafting their own personalized crowns and branches, becoming royalty for the day, to enjoying the up-close excitement of musicians, dancers, storytellers, puppeteers, and magicians filling every corner, venue, parking lot, and open space throughout the village.
Welcome to The Southlands Foundation – a registered 501c3 since 1983, where equine education, conservation and community engagement flourish as vibrantly as they did the year our barn was founded in 1938. Through our riding lessons, equine assisted programs and immersive camps, we invite you to become part of a living legacy where tradition meets modern stewardship and every visit creates a lasting impact.
Rhinebeck PORCHFEST is a free, volunteer-run music festival held one Saturday each September. Porches and lawns across the Village become neighborhood stages, and thousands walk from set to set. It began as a simple community celebration and has grown into one of Rhinebeck’s signature events.
